First, I want to apologize for not getting the results up for the 2009 Jonesville Riverfest Cornhole Tournament up yet. I am having some technical difficulties with some of the media I want to upload, hopefully I will have it up in a few days!
Now, I want to help spread some news about a great tournament coming up in Ludington. It is the 1st Annual Michigan Cornhole State Championships. This event will be held on July 25th, with a 9 am sign in. There is NO sign ups the day of the event, so get pre-registered NOW. The slots should go fast with the very low team sign-up fee of only $10!

Just getting the finishing touches completed for the 2009 Rivervest Cornhole Tournament on Saturday May 15th, 2009. As of now we have plenty of room in both the singles and team events.
We will be starting off the Team event at 10 am on Saturday and the Singles will follow immediately after. Registration will start at 9 am and warm-up will be from 9 am till 10 am.
To ensure that no entries are missed, I would not mail in any entries after today. You can email me at michigancornhole@gmail.com to reserve a spot if you would like, but your reservation will be released if there are teams to take your place. Credit cards will NOT be able to be taken at the tournament, so if you want to pay that way, please do it by prior to Saturday. The day of the tournament we will accept cash and checks.
For all the local players, we will be having a sign-up sheet for leagues that will be forming soon, if you are interested!

May 16th and the 2009 Jonesville Riverfest Cornhole Tournament is closing in fast! Don’t count on any spots being available the day of the event, it is first come first served to fill the 64 teams!
I wanted to clear up one item about the tournament. Each round you play in, you will play three games and the team that wins the best 2 out of 3 will go on to the next round and the losing team will be eliminated. I don’t think I was clear on that earlier, hope that makes it clearer for all!

Michigan Cornhole is happy to announce that credit cards are now accepted for the entry fee for the 2009 Jonesville Riverfest Cornhole Tournament. Just go to the Tournament registration page and pay using your credit card via PayPal and then mail in your registration form with the paypal info so we can match you up with your payment. Thanks!!

Michigan Cornhole will be putting on the 2009 Jonesville Riverfest Cornhole Tournament to be held at the Spotts Gym located at the Jonesville Middle School. MAP The team event will start at 10:00 am with check-in starting at 9:00 am. The singles tournament will follow directly after the team event at approximately 2:00 pm.
The payouts for the team event is $1000 for first, $500 for second and $250 for third! For the singles tourny the payouts are $500 for first, $250 for second and $100 for third. Entry fee is $25 each for the singles event and $50 per team for the team event. The payouts are based on 64 teams and 64 single entries. If this is not reached the payout will be adjusted accordingly.

There will be a concession stand at the event and since it is school property, no alcohol or tobacco products are allowed on the premises.

Plans are in the making for Michigan Cornhole to run a Cornhole Tournament during the 2009 Jonesville Riverfest. The Riverfest will be in its 35th year and is on the third weekend of May (May 15, 16 & 17 2009)!

Michigan Cornhole was formed after my family became addicted to the game and were disappointed that there were no weekly leagues or any tournaments in our area. We also like making our own Cornhole boards and those will be featured on here for sale also! Yes, there are dozens of places on the Internet that sell them but not in our area. This will help you save $40 - $50 on shipping alone when you buy them locally!
Michigan Cornhole will also be starting and running leagues and tournaments in Southern Michigan and we will list them as they transpire, so check back frequently to see any new ones listed!
